Broneirion are holding an extremely exciting world book Day event on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th 7 6th March 2015 for all Key Stage 2 aged children. The day will include workshops and story telling with children's author Eric Maddern, as well other themed activities such as an underground science lab (working with current Year 7 students), blasting off into space in Techniquest Glyndwr's inflatable planetarium, "Going Green" and finding skeletons in a real archeological dig.
There will also be the opportunity to exchange your World Book Day tokens, as the Great Oak Bookshop are planning to be here on the day with lots of fabulous books, as well as Powys Library Service.
Cost £10.00 per child for the day.

Treat your Mum to a delicious home-cooked three course lunch plus coffee/tea in beautiful surroundings. Meals served from noon until 2.30pm, but plenty of time to relax and enjoy the views or perhaps let the children tackle our zip wire and trim trail!

For the 4th time we will be holding our Charity Easter Food Fair and Easter Egg Hunt at Broneirion. Visit the 150 year old house and grounds, sample and buy produce from across Wales and the borders. Purchase mouthwatering food & drink, select a beautiful plant as an Easter gift, or just spoil yourself. Bring the family along to take part in Easter activities and follow our Easter trail, with an Easter Egg as a prize for completing all challenges. Cookery demonstrations, workshops & family activities will also take place throughout the day. A programme of events will also be taking place throughout Easter week. Further details available soon. Adults: £3.50, children under 12 free. 10.30am - 5.30pm Broneirion is the training & residential centre of Girlguiding Cymru.
