Broneirion Lodge is a beautiful Victorian stone cottage that is situated at the gates to Broneirion, the home of Girlguiding in Wales. Set just above the River Severn and the village of Llandinam, the Lodge sleeps up to 6 and is ideal for families and couples. As well as being adjacent to Broneirion, the 1860’s home of the Davies family, built by David Davies, it is within easy walking distance of the village, country pub, nature reserve and the Severn Way. Just off the A470, it is also the perfect base for exploring the attractions of Mid and West Wales, Snowdonia, the Brecon Beacons and the coast.
The surrounding area offers walking, fishing, sailing, golf, cycling and bird watching and after an energetic day out there are numerous country pubs, serving excellent food. Many tourist attractions and activities for all ages include horse riding, indoor play areas/ball pools, sports and outdoor activity centres, swimming pools, castles (Powis Castle, Montgomery and Dolforwyn), stunning scenery – mountains, forests, lakes and waterfalls, golf courses, farm parks, Red Kite centre, theatres, Centre for Alternative Technology, silver & lead mines, bird watching, butterfly farm, Silver Mountain Experience, steam train rides, bike hire and, of course, a large number of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants.
