“We had an absolutely amazing day at Broneirion. The variety of activities on offer was fantastic. The day was action packed from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. I lost count of the number of children who said to me, “This is the best school trip we’ve ever had!” or “This is the greatest day EVER!” I don’t know who enjoyed it more, the pupils or the staff. I could not recommend it highly enough to any schools or families looking to plan an action packed and lively day out”.”
—Emma Grosvenor, Class Teacher - Hafren Junior School, Newtown - Entire school visit
“I would definitely recommend to everyone. Even adults. It was a day I would never forget. Thank you!”
— Oliver - Year 4 - Llanidloes Primary School
"To Lorna and all the staff at Broneirion. Just to say a huge thank you for yesterday we all had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a very well organised day with interesting activities and all in beautiful surroundings. You made us feel so welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed it all!The children got so much out of it and were buzzing on the bus going home. Thanks again"."

“Thank you so, so much again for another wonderful week. The girls and staff have absolutely loved their stay and all have so appreciated the quality, homeliness facilities and beauty of the centre. Broneirion really has become such a special place to St Ives school. We only have to step through the door to feel at home and, as a trip leader, it is so reassuring to know that from day 1 we will be cared for so brilliantly in every way and will have the flexibility and run of the house to make the stay perfect. Thank you too for catering so carefully for our allergy needs and for another week of lovely food. All the staff at the centre work really hard to ensure we have an amazing time and I was most touched by the flexibility for us on Thursday, with so many staff working on site, even late evening, to ensure we could do the activities. Many of the staff we know so well that there is a wonderful sense of coming back to friends and after many residentials there and my connections to Guiding, for me personally, there is a huge sense of homecoming! The day on centre worked really well. The activities were so well organised and fun and the instructor ratio and safety spot on. The magic of Bronerion is something so unique and very special and we feel very privileged to be able to share in it. Thanks again for everything and we are looking forward to the next stay already! Best wishes and all the best to you all. !”

"5star - The Lower Foundation Phase class from Ysgol Gynradd Llanidloes enjoyed a fantastic 'Once Upon a Time' themed school trip here yesterday. The day was extremely well organised, with exciting and engaging activities that had both the children and grown-ups enthralled! It has been the topic of many animated conversations at school today and I, for one, am still in awe of the amazing gingerbread house! A huge amount of work and effort put in by yourselves, from planning through to delivery. I would thoroughly recommend to all schools. Diolch yn fawr iawn i chi"

Broneirion, is an idyllic venue conveniently located near to the A470 between Newtown and Llanidloes in the heart of Mid Wales close to major rail links.
Set in 4 acres of well-maintained grounds with stunning views of the Severn Valley Broneirion was originally built by Wales leading Victorian Industrialist, David Davies, in 1864.
