Self Catering - The Lodge
Broneirion Lodge is a beautiful Victorian stone self catered holiday cottage that is situated at the gates to Broneirion, the home of Girlguiding in Wales.
Set just above the River Severn and the village of Llandinam in Powys. The self catering lodge sleeps up to 6 and is ideal for families and couples looking for the perfect holiday base. As well as being adjacent to Broneirion, the 1860’s home of the Davies family, built by David Davies, it is within easy walking distance of the village, nature reserve and the Severn Way. Just off the A470, it is also an excellent base for exploring the attractions of Mid and West Wales, Snowdonia, the Brecon Beacons and the coast.
The surrounding area offers walking, fishing, sailing, golf, cycling and bird watching and after an energetic day out there are numerous country pubs, serving excellent food. Many tourist attractions and activities for all ages within easy travelling distance. You can find more details at Visit Mid Wales website The area is used for car and motorbike rallies. Broneirion can offer a number of activities, afternoon teas, Breakout rooms and runs holiday clubs during school holidays. Please ask for details at the time of booking.
The Lodge is spacious and well laid out with parking for four cars. It has 2 bedrooms upstairs with picturesque views to the Severn. The master bedroom is beautifully decorated with double bed and plenty of wardrobe space.
The second bedroom contains can be made as a double or twin depending on your needs. Both rooms retain original features including decorative cast iron fire places. There is additional sleeping on the double sofa bed in the sitting room downstairs.
There are two living rooms. The sitting room is traditional, with a sofa bed and sofa. The living/dining room is decorated in a more modern style with a three-piece suite. There is also a dining area with seating for 6.
The kitchen is newly refurbished and includes everything you would expect including a dishwasher. A washing machine is situated in the boiler house next to the back door. Upstairs has a fully fitted bathroom and wc with shower over. There is a second toilet on the ground floor.

All linen and towels are included in the price. Additional items can be arranged upon request, including lunches at the House at discounted rates. Beach towels are not included. The property is cleaned before arrival and once a week thereafter.
Guests must depart from the premises by 10.00 am and can arrive from 4.00 pm. Short breaks are available.
3 night minimum booking
Low Season 2nd January - 31st March £50 per night £295 per week
Mid Season 1st April - 30th June £75 per night £425 per week
High Season 1st July - 1st September £100 per night £600 per week
Mid Season 2nd September - 31st October £75 per night £425 per week
Low Season 1st November - 21st December £50 per night £295 per week
Christmas 22nd December - 1st January £100 per night £600 per week
